My Zen View and Haiku - Coming and Going in Zen - April 24, 2010

The Dalai Lama has said repeatedly that if one finds peace, happiness and service in any faith then they should embrace that faith. Buddhism is merely one path that brings awareness of peace, love and service to others. If another path fits someone better then they should follow it. The key is whether the path brings harmony and peace to themselves and others. If someone leaves Buddhism, we wish them joy and happiness. If they come back to Buddhism, we greet them as dear family. Either way, it is all good.

The tide ebbs and flows.
All are welcome to explore
And choose joyfulness.
